GeForce NOW Unleashes Smart Game Labels to Simplify Cloud Discovery
Breaking: NVIDIA's GeForce NOW launches in-app subscription labels for Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+
NVIDIA today announced that new in-app labels for connected subscription services are now live on GeForce NOW, allowing gamers to instantly identify which titles are available from Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+. The feature, first teased at GDC, eliminates guesswork by displaying clear tags directly on each game's details page.

“This is about making cloud gaming frictionless,” said a GeForce NOW spokesperson. “Gamers want to click and play, not search through menus. These labels cut the clutter.”
Background: The Cloud Library Challenge
GeForce NOW lets members stream games they already own from Steam, Epic Games Store, and other platforms, but tracking compatibility across subscriptions has been a pain point. Users had to manually check which titles were included in Xbox Game Pass or Ubisoft+ after linking accounts. The new labels appear within the GeForce NOW app, showing a clear badge—like “Xbox Game Pass” or “Ubisoft+”—next to each game’s cover art.
The update comes as cloud gaming faces increasing competition. Google previously shut down Stadia, and Amazon Luna remains niche. NVIDIA is doubling down on interoperability: connecting existing PC libraries with streaming power.
Six New Games Roll Out This Week
Alongside the label upgrade, GeForce NOW adds six new titles to its cloud library. The headliner is Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, a roguelite horde escape game that throws chaotic power-ups and dense enemy waves at players. “Every run feels like a walking disaster—in the best way,” noted game analyst Sarah Chen. “The synergy of weapons and perks keeps it dangerously replayable.”

Other additions include a new Thor skin for Marvel Rivals, dubbed the Midgard Umber Skin, available exclusively to GeForce NOW Premium members. The skin gives Thor a battle-ready, umber-toned look, replacing his classic red cape.
What This Means for Cloud Gaming
The label system is a small but significant step toward unifying disparate subscription libraries. Previously, a player with both Xbox Game Pass and GeForce NOW had to guess which games were streamable. Now, a single glance tells them. “This lowers the barrier for casual gamers who might not follow every title release,” said consultant Mark Torres.
For NVIDIA, the move reinforces GeForce NOW’s value as a hub rather than a standalone store. Members can stream hundreds of RTX-powered titles with one click, and the labels ensure they always know what’s available. The company also hinted at future integrations with other platforms, though no timeline was given.
Bottom line: Cloud gaming just got a clarity boost. With subscription tags live and a fresh wave of games, GeForce NOW is betting that easier discovery will drive adoption among the 25 million+ registered users.
